Self-learning

This summer, I decided to challenge myself by learning Python on my own. I had always been interested in computers and programming, so I wanted to use my free time to explore something new instead of just taking a break from school.

At first, Python seemed confusing because there were so many new concepts, such as variables, loops, functions, and conditional statements. I learned mainly through online tutorials, practice exercises, and small projects. Whenever I didn’t understand something, I would search for an explanation and try writing the code myself.

One of my first projects was a simple calculator, which helped me understand how Python takes input, processes information, and produces an output. As I continued practicing, I became more comfortable with writing and debugging my own code.

Learning Python taught me more than just programming. It helped me develop problem-solving skills, patience, and the ability to learn independently. I also realized that making mistakes is an important part of programming because debugging teaches you how to think differently and find solutions.

I still have a lot to learn, but I’m proud of the progress I made this summer. Learning Python has made me even more interested in Computer Science and software engineering, and I hope to continue building bigger and more interesting projects in the future.
